EXCURSION TO THE SEALS

Today, approximately 6,000 seals live near the North Frisian Islands. On a boat trip, you can observe grey seals in their colony off the southern coast of Sylt, as well as the massive seal packs of hundreds – the largest groups anywhere on the North Sea coast. It's an experience you'll never forget.

Cycling on Sylt is an experience for all the senses. The 200 kilometers of well-developed cycle paths run across the island. It offers the perfect opportunity to explore Sylt's unique natural beauty and diversity and to see corners inaccessible by car.

Mudflat hikes

At low tide, countless creatures frolic in the mudflats. Guided tours of the Wadden Sea National Park are available year-round. Small groups explore the island's Wadden Sea in 1.5-2 hours.
