A WINTER FAIRY TALE
Whether on the slopes, on a ski tour, a snowshoe hike, an unforgettable horse-drawn sleigh ride, or cozying up in front of the fireplace in our chalets: Leogang has plenty in store for your winter bucket list. Read the best winter ideas here.
Be enchanted by the charm of the luxurious Senhoog Alpine Chalets, nestled in a unique ambience of design and comfort, nestled in the impressive Leogang mountains....

Skiing on the Asitz:
The Asitzbahn cable car takes you directly from Leogang to the skiing fun. The Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski circus, with its 270 kilometers of slopes, is one of the best ski regions in Europe. You can make your turns on the perfectly groomed slopes as early as 8 a.m.

At home on the trail:
The Nordic Park at Lake Ritzensee is a cross-country skiing paradise. Whether classic or skate skiing, this trail landscape is a true experience: right by the lake, through the forest, or across the region's vast fields!
Explore the region on snowshoes:
This is almost our favorite thing to do when we're in Leogang – a beautiful snowshoe hike. You can hike gently through the winter landscape and enjoy nature to the fullest. With or without a guide, you can explore untouched corners or climb the Saalfelden Biberg, which is particularly suitable for snowshoe hikes.

Winter hiking to the observation tower at Ritzensee:
Beautiful views of Saalfelden Leogang can be enjoyed not only from the surrounding peaks, but also from the valley below. To get there, hike for about 40 minutes to the lookout tower at Ritzensee. In winter, the paths are somewhat snow-covered, but with a little snow trudging, you can get up there without any effort.
Night tobogganing at Biberg:
Enjoy the snowy landscape with a splashy toboggan ride on the natural toboggan run on the Biberg.
What could be more beautiful than a horse-drawn sleigh ride? Wrapped in a warm blanket, you glide through the snowy winter landscape, the silence interrupted only by the contented snorting of the Noriker horses. Horse-drawn sleigh rides by moonlight are particularly impressive and mystical. We would be happy to organize your private horse-drawn sleigh ride.

For the brave, we recommend the
Flying Fox XXL. This spectacular 1.6-kilometer-long steel cable slide from the Stöcklalm down into the valley is also open in winter. Glide down at 130 km/h. Adrenaline rush and breathtaking views of the Leogang mountains are included.
A hit – the helicopter tour: Discovering the region from a bird's eye view is simply an unforgettable experience! You're right in the middle of the rugged, striking cliffs of the Steinernes Meer and the Leoganger Steinberge, flying through these mighty mountain ranges, over rolling grassy mountains, and overlooking deep-blue lakes.
